Fellows

Main content start

The COLLEGE Fellowship at Stanford University provides recent Ph.D.s from Stanford and beyond with the opportunity to guide small groups of first-year students in their earliest stages of intellectual formation.

Love teaching undergraduates? Fellows connect with first-year students through small seminar-style classes and discussion sections. All courses are team-taught, offering additional opportunities to hone and explore new teaching methods. Courses are interdisciplinary and Fellows come from a range of disciplines.  Explore COLLEGE courses.

Past Fellows have moved from the Fellowship to tenure-track faculty positions, academic staff roles, and industry. See Fellow Alumni.

Fellowship Search

Fellows are selected each year in a competitive search that runs approximately from December-April, with a deadline in January. The fellowship is a full-time position with a fixed term of three years.
