Cristian Felipe Soler Reyes received a Ph.D. in Latin American and Iberian Studies from Stanford University in 2023. His research looks at different Latin American art forms (painting, sculpture, cinema, literature, etc.) from the last 30 years with a transnational, cross-cultural, and transdisciplinary lens.
Cristian also created and chairs the research group “Comics: More than Words,” which has become a hub for interdisciplinary thought and for diversity. Students from different backgrounds come together in this space to learn from each other and to share their different perspectives.
