Lecturers have taken many paths after the fellowship, into teaching, research, or roles outside academia.

Although the first-year requirement evolves, the essential nature of the teaching position remains the same: working closely with students in small classes, and guiding students in their transition to college-level work. The database below combines information from multiple iterations of the first-year liberal education requirement.

• IHUM Fellows (Introduction to the Humanities), 1997-2012, ~45 fellows each year
